Early and Late Results of PTD in Iliaca Stenosis

Percutaneous Vascular Recanalization

Abstract

Dilatation of the stenosed A. iliaca with catheters introduced percutaneously (1, 10) is a relatively simple and highly effective method of treatment. Considerable dilatation of the occluded artery and thus improved blood supply to the leg is frequently effected by this type of intervention, which is scarcely more extensive than catheter angiography.
