Review of the Results of the Dotter Procedure

  • Conference paper

Abstract

When dealing with a certain method of treatment one could hardly say that one aspect is more important than another. But one can state that a method either stands or falls by the data obtained from evaluating its results. This evaluation determines the method’s usefulness, particularly in comparison with other methods that aim at the same therapeutic effect. Since results and indications are closely related, it is not possible to discuss the results of a method without the indications for such a method obviously following from it: yesterday’s result determines tomorrow’s indication.
