Abstract
Sparsomycin is one of the antibiotics produced by Streptomyces sparsogenes var. sparsogenes (Owen, Dietz and Camiener, 1962). It has been isolated as crystalline material from the culture filtrates and has the molecular formula C31H21N3O6S2 (Argoudelis and Herr, 1962) but its structure is not yet known.
