Zusammenfassung

Die Registration Ordinance hat den Grundbesitz des einzelnen afrikanischen Bauern von den Gemeinschaftsbindungen des Gewohnheitsrechts, insbesondere von der Kontrolle der traditionellen Landautoritäten — soweit sie noch bestanden haben — befreit. Von der Möglichkeit, die Kontrollrechte der Aramati durch Eintragung von Verfügungsbeschränkungen (restrictions) zu perpetuieren, ist kein Gebrauch gemacht worden.
