Abstract

In the previous chapter, existing optimisation models on environmental resources were reviewed. Some models looked at a single decision maker (one country) while others focused on strategic aspects arising from the introduction of international environmental resources with accompanying externalities. In this chapter, one- country models of the Greenhouse Effect are developed. Subsequently, in Chapter 4, the focus is on the transboundary aspects.
