Zusammenfassung

Einen knapp gefaßten modernen Überblick über die Morphologie der Samenpflanzen haben ROHWEDER und ENDRESS (1983) ihrem Lehrbuch vorangestellt. Dabei ist vor allem die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Cormus-organe anschaulich dargestellt. Die gebotene Knappheit hat unausweichlich eine gewisse Unausgeglichenheit zur Folge, die z.B. darin zum Ausdruck kommt, daß die Verzweigungssysteme nicht behandelt werden, die doch die Wuchsform der Pflanzen ganz wesentlich prägen.
