Abstract
At present, science as a cultural force is undoubtedly in a deep crisis. For several decades the scientist ranked high in the Western European or North American societies. This has changed (1). In our days the scientist and scholar seems to be an enemy of both nature and human society. Science, definitely, is on the defensive these days.
