Abstract

This paper puts forward 3 Dimensional Dynamic Concept Model (3-DDCM) by combining philosophical analysis and thinking of materialist dialectics and inspiration of HowNet biaxial theory of events. According to the 3-DDCM, the paper proposes a method of verb classification through sentence semantic analysis. The method studies the correspondence between the verb classes and HowNet event taxonomy, verb classes in Verb Dictionary and related concepts in HNC on the whole. The paper is a preliminary exploration of integrated application of HowNet, Verb Dictionary and HNC.

This paper was supported by the National Key Science & Technology Pillar Program during the 12th Five-Year Plan of China under Grant No. 2012BAH14F00.
