Zusammenfassung

Die oberflächliche kutane Infektionskrankheit Impetigo contagiosa wird durch Staphylococcus aureus (ca. 80–90 %) und Streptokokken der Gruppe A (ca. 10–20 %) verursacht, wobei Mischinfektionen möglich sind. Topische Antibiotika (Fusidinsäure und Mupirocin) sind die Therapeutika der 1.Wahl bei lokalisiert vorliegenden Hautveränderungen. Disseminierte Verläufe oder bei Vorliegen von Allgemeinsymptomen ist eine orale Antibiotikabehandlung indiziert, die vorzugsweise mit Cephalosporinen der 1. Generation geführt wird.
