Zusammenfassung
Kennzeichnend ist die reproduzierbare Auslösung von Anfällen durch sensorische, sensible und komplexe Reize. Die Variabilität der in Betracht kommenden Auslöser ist groß (Tab. 10.1). Reflektorisch ausgelöste Anfälle können einziges Symptom einer Epilepsie sein oder neben spontanen Anfällen auftreten. Mit Ausnahme der fotogenen Epilepsie ist allen Reflexepilepsien gemeinsam, dass sie therapeutisch schwer zu beeinflussen sind. Dies gilt insbesondere für die Startle-Anfälle im Rahmen schwerer »symptomatischer« Epilepsien (z. B. Zerebralparese, Mediainfarkt etc.). Größte praktische Bedeutung hat wegen ihrer Häufigkeit die fotogene Epilepsie.
