Zusammenfassung

Die Lyme-Arthritis ist die häufigste durch Zecken übertragene Infektion. Sie stellt eine chronische Infektionserkrankung dar. Die Arthritis wird als 2. Erkrankungsstadium aufgefasst und präsentiert sich meist als Monarthritis, in der Regel als Gonarthritis, seltener als Oligoarthrititis und sehr selten als Polyarthritis. Der Verlauf ist episodisch oder chronisch. Die serologische Diagnose erfolgt mittels ELISA und Immunoblot.
