In diesem Kapitel werden die in der Pädiatrie klinisch relevanten Systemmykosen (Aspergillose, Candidose, Kryptokokkose und Mucormykose) behandelt. Für seltene invasive und disseminierte Pilzinfektionen, die in Mitteleuropa keine Rolle spielen (Kokzidioidomykose, Parakokzidioidomykose, Histoplasmose, Blastomykose u. a.), wird auf die mykologische und infektiologische Spezialliteratur verwiesen.
