Zusammenfassung
Gallenblasenkarzinome gehören ebenso wie die Tumoren der intra- und extrahepatischen Gallengänge und die Tumoren der Papilla vateri zu den malignen Tumoren des Gallenwegsystems (Misra et al. 2003). Histologisch imponieren Gallenblasenkarzinome in über 90 % der Fälle als Adenokarzinome, in seltenen Fällen auch als Plattenepithelkarzinome, Sarkome, neuroendokrine Karzinome oder auch Lymphome. Hauptrisikofaktoren für die Entstehung von Gallenblasenkarzinomen sind die chronische Cholezystolithiasis sowie Malformationen des pankreatikobiliären Gangsystems.
