Zusammenfassung

Bei den primär malignen Leberkarzinomen unterscheidet man zwischen dem hepatozellulären Karzinom (HCC), das in 80–90 % aller malignen Primärtumoren der Leber auftritt, von dem selteneren Cholangiokarzinom (CC), das ungefähr 10 % der malignen Lebertumoren ausmacht. Seltene epitheliale Tumoren (wie das biliäre Zystadenokarzinom), mesenchymale Tumoren (wie das Hämangiosarkom oder Fibrosarkom) sowie kombinierte Tumoren (Mischtumoren von hepatozellulärem und Cholangiokarzinom) oder Hepatoblastome werden aufgrund der Seltenheit von <1 % nicht weiter aufgeführt.
