Zusammenfassung

Polyzystische Lebererkrankungen sind zumeist vererbte Erkrankungen, bei denen die Leber mit einer Vielzahl von Zysten (flüssigkeitsgefüllter und mit Epithel ausgekleideter Hohlraum) unterschiedlichster Größe durchsetzt ist. Häufig treten die Zysten im Rahmen einer autosomal dominanten polyzystischen Nierenerkrankung (ADPKD) auf. Sehr selten ist ausschließlich die Leber betroffen (polyzystische Lebererkrankung, PLD).
