Strategies of Multinational Corporations and Social Regulations

Abstract

The evolution of industrial relations in Russia and China is a fascinating research topic. Both countries experience a rapid economic modernization in which foreign companies play an important role. At the same time, both countries stick to an authoritarian model of state and society, in which trade union activities and the representation of employee interests are restricted. How do industrial relations in foreign companies in Russia and China evolve? Is a capitalism without employee voice emerging?
