Zusammenfassung
Unter Personalentwicklung versteht man alle gezielten Maßnahmen, die darauf ausgerichtet sind, die Qualifikationen von Mitarbeitern und Führungskräften für deren gegenwärtige und zukünftige Aufgaben systematisch sicherzustellen. Das Assessment-Center ist eine geeignete Methode, um den individuellen Entwicklungsbedarf zu ermitteln. Für die Personalentwicklung im Fach- und Führungskräftebereich spielen insbesondere folgende Verfahren eine wichtige Rolle: persönlichkeits- und erlebnisorientierte Verfahren, verhaltensorientierte Maßnahmen, kommunikationsorientierte Verfahren, selbstmanagementorientierte Verfahren, die Zuweisung von entwicklungsförderlichen Aufgaben, Coaching und Mentoring. Bei der Transfersicherung und Evaluation von Personalentwicklungsmaßnahmen ist darauf zu achten, dass, ob und in welchem Ausmaß die durchgeführten Maßnahmen auch zu Konsequenzen im Arbeitsfeld und in den Tätigkeiten der betroffenen Personen führen.
