Abstract
Special tort liability is defined in relative to general tort liability. It lacks certain elements for general tort liability and applies presumed fault liability or non-fault liability imputation principle. In most cases, special tort liabilities are indirect liabilities, requesting a defendant to bear liability caused by the person(s) he is responsible for, properties he manages, and dangerous conditions controlled by him.
