Abstract
Vascular anomalies comprise vascular tumors and vascular malformations. There are various classifications concerning these heterogeneous groups of diseases, and they are still changing. Vascular tumors, which are primarily the result of excess angiogenesis, can be benign or malignant. Although benign vascular tumors are among the commonest benign cutaneous soft tissue neoplasms, malignant ones are rare. More than half of the benign vascular tumors are acquired and their association with congenital malformations is rare. Malignant vascular tumors will be discussed in a different chapter.
