Abstract

Spectroscopy is the heart of astrophysics. How do we measure the flux of incoming light as a function of frequency/wavelength/energy? This final chapter is a very brief skim over a big subject. As in the other sections, we will concentrate on the basic principles rather than the details of instrument design.
