Zusammenfassung

Die Exploration auf Minerale aller Art, einschließlich der kritischen Metalle, ist ein finanziell riskantes Unterfangen. Es gibt verschiedene Ansätze, um diese Risiken zu quantifizieren. Obwohl Investoren und die Finanzmärkte täglich mit Berichten von Erkundungsergebnissen überschwemmt werden, die ein „hohes Potenzial“ oder gar „neue Entdeckungen“ mitteilen, sind doch wirklich neue, wirtschaftlich interessante Erzfunde eher selten. Dieser Beitrag untersucht die Gründe für den Rückgang bei Erkundungsaktivitäten und identifiziert einige Themen, die mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdienen, einschließlich Forschungsaktivitäten.
