Abstract
A good knowledge of the lung anatomy in general and a good understanding of the anatomy of the secondary pulmonary lobule in particular is mandatory to understand the CT features of the normal and the diseased lung. In the first section of this chapter, the basics of lung anatomy will be discussed. In the second section, a description will be given on the relationship between lung anatomy and distribution of disease while in the third section the CT features of the normal lung will be explained.
