Abstract
Effective communication, i.e., communication that achieves the intended purpose, requires that we deliver our message in a way that can be grasped and understood by the targeted audience. Much of that concerns the structuring of scientific text. Many readers may specifically look for information concerning the methods used, or they may be particularly interested in the conclusions drawn from the study. By presenting the material in a logical and clear structure, we help our readers to readily find the information they need.
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
The secret of getting started is breaking your
complex overwhelming tasks into small
manageable tasks, and then
starting on the first one.”
Mark Twain
