An Improved Optimization Algorithm for Solving Real Eigenvalue and Eigenvector of Matrixes

Abstract

In this paper, aiming to papers [1, 2]’s deficiency, we propose a method which changes to use the Excel’s single variable equations and regional operations with the Excel VBA programming. Finally, we get a method to solve the matrix eigenvalues and the eigenvectors by using Excel. The facts show that the method in this paper is better than the references’ methods.
