Abstract

This research combines iNPD and the role-playing method to explore the medical demand for ancillary products of hand injury patients in their daily lives. In order to understand the needs of the patients and find their problems, the design was issued by the products of caring and empathy. Forearm dysfunction, smear syrup, and dressing wounds are the most common needs. Accordingly four idea concepts are developed, and the top two popular cases are selected to complete the design proposal for self-care-related diseases peripheral products.
