Zusammenfassung
Genitale Fehlbildungen können in großer Vielfalt auftreten. Betrachtet man allerdings ihre unterschiedliche Prävalenz und damit die klinische Relevanz im ärztlichen Alltag, so verdienen in erster Linie die uterinen Fehlbildungen eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Deren klassische Einteilung (AFS 1988) reicht bei komplexen Anomalien gelegentlich nicht aus, sodass modifizierte Klassifikationen Anwendung finden. Tab. 20.1 zeigt eine praxisrelevante Darstellung der Bedeutung der einzelnen Uterusfehlbildungen für die perikonzeptionelle Beratung/Betreuung, die auf der klassischen Nomenklatur basiert.
