Zusammenfassung

Es existiert bislang kein evidenzbasiertes pharmakologisches Konzept, den natürlichen Verlauf der akuten Pankreatitis zu beeinflussen. Durch ein sorgfältig überwachtes und individuell adaptiertes supportivtherapeutisches Konzept (Volumenersatz, Schmerztherapie, Ernährungstherapie, endoskopische Therapie) lassen sich Morbidität und Letalität der akuten Pankreatitis jedoch erheblich senken.
