Zusammenfassung
Die Endosonographie ist derzeit als die zuverlässigste Methode in der Bildgebung endokriner Pankreastumoren anzusehen, sofern sie durch einen in der Fragestellung erfahrenen Untersucher durchgeführt wird. Ihre methodische Nachweisgrenze liegt bei einem Tumordurchmesser von 2–3 mm. Eine spezielle Relevanz kann sie bei der Planung der chirurgischen Strategie haben. Auch Schnittbildgebung und Szintigraphie spielen eine relevante Rolle, wenngleich deren Sensitivitäten deutlich geringer sind.
