The construction of the pH-logc i diagram of a monobasic acid HB is stepwise shown in Figs. 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. The acid has an overall concentration \( C_{\mathrm{ HB}}^{\bigcirc } \) and a given \( \mathrm{ p}K_{\mathrm{ a}}^{\mathrm{ HB}} \) value:
