Abstract
We are developing a tool Kaira[1,2]. Our main development goal is to create a practically usable general-purpose high-level visual programming tool for the area of High Performance Computing (HPC), especially for distributed memory systems. We feel that there is a space for this research. Tools used by practitioners in this area are usually low-level ones (like Message Passing Interface – MPI) or domain specific tools.
