Abstract
This chapter first reports the organizational structure of the Peking University and the history of the educational reform in Peking University with an aim to better understand the background of the Yuanpei Program. Then the researcher focuses on the analysis of the fundamental idea conveyed by the document regarding Yuanpei Program. The features of the program are summarized thereafter.
