Zusammenfassung

Eine Patientenschulung bei chronischen Erkrankungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter wie Asthma bronchiale, Neurodermitis und Anaphylaxie hat zum Ziel, die Kompetenzen bei Kindern, Jugendlichen und deren Familien zu stärken und ein möglichst normales Leben trotz/mit der chronischen Krankheit zu gewährleisten. Die Schulungsprogramme sollen einerseits Wissen über Ursachen und Auswirkungen sowie Therapiemöglichkeiten vermitteln, andererseits aber auch Wahrnehmung von emotionalen und psychosozialen Folgen der chronischen Erkrankung schärfen und den Umgang damit im familiären Kontext erleichtern. Patientenschulungen müssen in ihrer Effizienz und in ihrer ökonomischen Auswirkung evaluiert sein und bedürfen einer entsprechenden begleitenden Qualitätskontrolle. Ein besonderer Aspekt der Patientenschulung ist die zusätzliche Qualifikation der teilnehmenden Berufsgruppen weit über ihre berufliche Profession hinaus, dadurch, dass gemeinsam die Trainerqualifikation erworben und die Schulungen durchgeführt werden.
