Zusammenfassung
Der nasale Provokationstest weist die klinische Relevanz von Allergenen an der Nasenschleimhaut nach und gilt v. a. bei IgE-vermittelten Sensibilisierungen gegen perenniale Allergene als Goldstandard der Diagnostik. Auswertungskriterien sind die Veränderung des Symptomscores und des nasalen Volumenstroms in der Rhinomanometrie. Der konjunktivale Provokationstest ist kein Suchtest, sondern dient der Bestätigung einer IgE-vermittelten Konjunktivitis, Rhinokonjunktivitis, eines urtikariellen Lidödems oder Quincke-Ödems, wenn Hauttest, Serologie und nasaler Provokationstest unklare Ergebnisse liefern oder nicht durchführbar sind. Zeichen einer positiven Reaktion sind neben Rötung, Juckreiz und Fremdkörpergefühl Tränenfluss und eine konjunktivale Injektion.
