Zusammenfassung

Verschiedene Pathomechanismen können zu Symptomen führen, die allergischen Symptomen ähneln, nicht aber Sensibilisierungen zur Grundlage haben. Diese Mechanismen und resultierenden Krankheitsbilder werden diskutiert, einschließlich der Histaminintoleranz, Reaktionen auf ACE-Hemmer oder Augmentierungen allergischer Reaktionen. Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt Unverträglichkeitsreaktionen auf nichtsteroidale Entzündungshemmer (NSAID) zu. Verschiedene Formen wie Exazerbationen eines vorbestehenden Asthmas oder einer Urtikaria, aber auch die direkte Auslösung von Urtikaria und Anaphylaxie durch NSAID aufgrund deren Einfluss auf den Arachidonsäuremetabolismus u. a. bei möglichen Polymorphismen müssen unterschieden werden von echten, nach Sensibilisierungen sich manifestierenden, IgE-vermittelten gleichen Symptomen von NSAIDs, wie insbesondere den Pyrazolonen oder Diclofenac.
