We study in this chapter the phase diagrams of multicomponent systems. The representation that provides the simplest diagrams is that composed only by thermodynamic fields. A system of c components is described by c + 2 thermodynamic fields: the temperature T, the pressure p, and the chemical potentials μ1, μ2, …, μc of the c components.
