Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNPSE,volume 7680))

Abstract

Model management is the discipline of manipulating models in support of Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) scenarios of interest. Model management may be supported and implemented via different operations – e.g., model transformation, validation, and code generation. We motivate the concepts and processes of model management, present a practical model management framework – Epsilon – and briefly indicate how it has been used to solve significant model management problems ’in the wild’.
