Abstract
In his remarks on Gini, Henry notes that the mean fecundability of women who conceive in the first month of marriage (in Gini's notation, paper 40 above: \(\Sigma p^2_{i}n_{i1}\left./ \Sigma p_in_{i1}\right)\)may also be written \(\bar{p}(1+c^{2})\), with \(\bar{p}\) the arithmetic mean fecundability of the non-sterile population and c the coefficient of variation.
