Abstract
In the 80’s of the last century I was member of the robotic Lab of the academy of sciences in East-Berlin. Our task was to develop robot skills for industrial manipulators mainly equipped with tactile sensors, intelligent grippers and force/torque sensors. Themain application of our robot skills were technological tasks like welding, grinding, glueing tasks etc. performed on the basis of contour following algorithms.
