Zusammenfassung
Der Referenzstandard zur Koronardiagnostik ist der invasive Herzkatheter. Dieser zeichnet sich durch eine bis heute im CT nicht erreichte, sehr hohe Ortsauflösung sowie eine sehr hohe zeitliche Auflösung aus. Die CT-Koronarangiographie bietet im Vergleich hierzu jedoch den Vorteil der fehlenden Invasivität, der kurzen Untersuchungszeit und zusätzlich der Möglichkeit, die Koronargefäße im morphologischen Bezug zu den umgebenden Strukturen zu beurteilen. Seit der Einführung der 64-Zeilen-CT-Geräte ist die CT-Koronarangiographie in der klinischen Routine angekommen. Im Mittelpunkt jeder CT-Koronarangiographie steht die Beurteilung der Koronargefäße zur Diagnose oder zum Ausschluss von Stenosen. Von entscheidender Bedeutung für den Erfolg einer Herz-CT sind die genaue Kenntnis der Stärken und Schwächen der Modalität sowie die kritische Prüfung der Indikation zur nicht-invasiven Untersuchung.
