Abstract
Fraud is a risk that is difficult to avoid for an organization of any size: despite well-known penal consequences, in practice, there is plenty of criminal energy for such activities. A modern ERP system such as SAP can represent a risk, but at the same time it offers solutions for fraud prevention and detection. We have already mentioned fraud topics frequently in the second part of this book — in this chapter we will look at the topic as a whole and for specific processes.
A powerful ERP system such as SAP ERP offers many options for safe handling of data and information. However, these options can also be used to hide criminal activities.
