Abstract

The first part of the results and discussion chapter describes the synthesis and characterization of metal-complex containing polystyrene particles by miniemulsion and emulsion polymerization. A measurement protocol for the reliable determination of the metal content of latex particles by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry is established first.
