Zusammenfassung
IT-Infrastruktur ist ein wesentlicher Faktor für die Effizienz von IT-Systemen hinsichtlich eines umweltgerechten und ökologisch nachhaltigen Betriebs. Früh wirken in der Systementwicklung nicht-funktionale Anforderungen, inklusive Vorgaben durch Umweltrichtlinien oder Selbstverpflichtungen, auf die Systemgestaltung ein. Die Komponentenauswahl bedarf aufgrund der vielfältigen Anforderungen einer methodischen Unterstützung. In diesem Artikel wird die Adaption der Design Structure Methode als Hilfsmittel für die Komponentenauswahl für IT-Infrastruktur unter Einbeziehung der funktionalen und nicht-funktionalen Anforderungen vorgestellt. Es werden die Voraussetzungen für die Anwendung der Methode beschrieben und die für die Auswahl von IT-Infrastrukturkomponenten relevanten Domänen identifiziert. An der zentralen Domäne “Baugruppe” hängen die Domänen “nicht-funktionale Eigenschaft”, “abstrakte Funktion” und “COTS-Komponente”. Es wird ein Systemgraf erstellt mit dem anschließend die Multiple Domain Matrix instanziiert wird und der Ablauf der Komponentenauswahl dargelegt wird. Die Komponentenauswahl bedient sich der in den Abhängigkeitsmatrizen gespeicherten Informationen. In einer exemplarischen Darstellung einer Domain Mapping Matrix wird der Zusammenhang zwischen den Elementen der Domänen “Baugruppe” und “nicht-funktionale Eigenschaft” gezeigt.
