Zusammenfassung

Die Indikation zur Pleurapunktion ergibt sich aus diagnostischen Gründen bei unklaren Pleuraergüssen (Exsudat versus Transsudat) oder in therapeutischer Absicht zur Ergussentleerung oder dringlichen Entlastung eines Spannungspneumothorax. Als relative Kontraindikationen gelten: Antikoagulation und Hautinfektion an der Einstichstelle.
