Abstract

This work presents an innovative method for discovering graphic pattern formations on financial data charts. The lack of this type of solutions, capable of discovering new patterns and adapt to new market conditions, is caused by the difficulty that this task represents, most of the approaches are parameter based relying on technical or fundamental indicators to optimize and generate trading rules, leaving out the important information that resides on the graphic price chart.
