Zusammenfassung

Das Mammakarzinom ist mit ca. 72.000 Neuerkrankungen jährlich in Deutschland und somit einer Inzidenz von 123/100.000 Frauen die häufigste Krebserkrankung bei der Frauen (RKI 2013). Der in den letzten Jahren ansteigenden Inzidenz steht eine wissenschaftliche Weiterentwicklung der Therapieoptionen mit der Folge einer sinkenden Mortalität der Erkrankung entgegen. Liegt bei der Erstdiagnose der Erkrankung eine primär nicht metastasierte Situation vor, so zeigen die Therapien des Mammakarzinoms hervorragende Ergebnisse mit einer Heilungsrate von > 90 %, abhängig von der weiteren Klassifikation des Tumors.
