Abstract

Using different methods of navigation, as well as consideration of various sources of signal level determine the resultant value of error in estimating location of the mobile station. Modeling variables of the received signal strength is based on known models of channel structure and service packs (standard IEEE 802.11), with taking into account statistical characteristics. Recursive algorithms use to estimate the constant component of the stochastic processes for solving navigational tasks. Accuracy of the location of subscriber devices is assessed with simulation.
