Die Anwendung der Methode der Dimensionsreduktion auf adhäsive Kontakte zwischen elastischen Körpern wird durch die Regel von Heß (Gl. (4.1)) gegeben. Diese Regel kann aber nicht ohne weiteres auf Kontakte mit viskoelastischen Körpern verallgemeinert werden.
