Abstract
This work analyzes the discharge from the spring in karst aquifers applying the fractal 1-D method in four aquifers in the south of Spain. The fractal dimension study has been developed on the basis of the accumulated distance frequency and the number of events, using the Scan Line method. The equation base is N \(\propto \) d-D, where N is the number of events (flow l/s), d is distance (n\(^{o}\) of days) and D an exponent related to the system of the fractal dimension. In the log-log graph the fractal dimension is the steep slope of the trend line. The results show as the temporal distribution of flows in each spring has low and different fractals dimension.
