Abstract
The technology of three-dimensional visualization can well describe the object, and it is a research hotspot in spatial information visualization. On the base of research actuality about virtual reality technology, application of it in the Geosciences and the coalmine is expounded. Now, virtual reality is used in mine system, virtual workface, virtual laneway and simulation laneway, mine accident and training, etc, and its wide application prospect in coalmine is shown.
