Abstract

Ecological construction is an important part of green development which fully considers the effect and importance of ecosystem and environment. The Chinese government continued to focus on the protection and construction of ecosystem in the process of green development. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, China had made important innovations and remarkable achievements on ecological policies and methods. Different scales of ecological engineering construction made the ecosystems all over China to get some degree of restoration and protection, and the area of nature reserve also increased largely.
